Alive in Christ

Can I get a big AMEN on this?

Care to share one thing you’re thankful for?

Here’s one of mine: I’m alive in Christ!

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” —Romans 6:8-11

  1. There is SOOOO much to be thankful for in Christ Jesus our Lord, where to start. One is that since his death that veil that was torn from top to bottom gave us access to come boldly to Him in prayer. Imagine the privilege of it!! Yet we so often don’t or we take it for granted or we pray not really thinking He will answer. I’m so grateful for the wonderful access and expectation of knowing He hears and answers. We don’t have to have the blood of bulls and goat to cleanse and provide a way one day a year, like the Jews did, because He gave His blood for us that cleansed once for all, we can come. Let us all come to Him in great gratitude and expectation of what He will do through our feeble prayers. Praise be to His Name!!

    • Donna, thank you so much for the specific reminders of why we should be thankful. I love that I can always count on you to add just the right info for us. There is a reason I always refer to you as not only my forever friend, but my mentor as well. You are such a blessing in my life. I love you!
