Spring HOPE Collage

Doesn’t Spring feel like it’s taking forever to get here? In some parts of the country, it must seem like it’s still winter because the snow is still melting. Here in northern Arizona, our daytime temps hover between 50-60 but the ever-present winds make it seem much colder. No matter where we live in the U.S., I think we could all use a bit of Spring hope!

The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created Spring. —Bernard Williams

Be strong and let your heart take courage,
all you who HOPE in the Lord.
—Psalm 31:24

  1. Hi Anna, Thanks for sharing all those lovely spring flower pictures. All so bright and cheerful, and something to look forward to. It’s been snowing here in Ontario, Canada, and enough to have it sitting on the ground, and on the cars so we have to clean the windshields. The temp. is right at freezing the past few days. Quite a change after the warmer temp. of last week. Spring will come soon enough and before we know it, some of us may be complaining about the temp. being way too hot. 🙂 lol All we can do is try to make the most of whatever the day is and whatever God has blessed us with, and know there are always better days. This changing weather also brings about some nasty changes for those of us who suffer with arthritis and Fibromyalgia, and other chronic conditions, so I just try to keep moving and keeping busy. Thanks for all the wonderful things you write and share. Donna

    • Donna, I’m living in northern Arizona but I’m originally from New England. I still have friends and family who live there so I hear about the winters dragging into spring, especially this year. Snow and ice are things I do not miss!

And thank you for your encouraging comments! May your day be blessed… Anna 🙂

  2. Warm and beautiful thoughts. Love the quote by Williams although I believe the LORD created winter just to make us that more appreciative of spring and summer. Good health to you.
