Following Jesus – Social Network Style

I love the site One for Israel. I wrote about it earlier this month in my post Reaching Israelis and Arabs for Jesus.”

I recently came across one of their videos titled Following Jesus – Social Network Style. This great video illustrates what it would be like if Jesus was alive today, and how people would use social media to talk about Him.

I realize many people do not (or do not care to) use social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and for many reasons. But if you do use social media or are thinking of doing so, here are a couple of questions for you to ponder:

  • If you do use social media, which do you use and how do you use them to share the Gospel message?
  • If you do not use social media yet, would you consider doing so to share your faith with people who need to hear it?

Beloved, please pray about this and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your mind and heart in what He wants you to do to help further God’s kingdom here on earth.

Pink Pinterest Collage

Today I want to share something fun with you. I realized the other day that I haven’t done any PINK posts for quite awhile, so here are a few images from my PINK!!! Pinterest board.

PinkPinterestCollage

The sign pretty much sums up how I feel about the color PINK. Some of these photos are for items on my wish list, some are just for the sheer beauty of the flowers. Vera Bradley’s Tutti Frutti pattern is my current favorite of her wonderful line, and this iPhone cover was given to me this past Christmas. And since I am a self-confessed truck girl—as well as a PINK girl—of course I would place the photo of that great pink 1955 Ford F100 pickup right on top!

How about you? What is your favorite color?

Keep Calm and Pin On

Today’s post is a little bit of fun. If you’ve never heard of Pinterest, it is another social media site where you can create “boards” for your different interests, and then add pertinent photos to those boards. You can easily add to those boards when you find something online that is of particular interest and you want to save it, or you may find things on the Pinterest site that you want to save on one of your boards.

I’m not sure of the history of how and why it started, but many people use Pinterest to put together ideas for home decorating, weddings, DIY projects, and the list goes on. It’s kind of like a giant bulletin board!

I joined Pinterest awhile back and am not always good at updating my boards, but here’s a look at a few of them.

More Pinkness!

I thought today called for a little more pinkness, so I found this gorgeous tulip bouquet on Pinterest.

Isn’t it beautiful?
