The Amazing Grand Canyon

Tidbit Tuesday

Since 2004, Rick and I have lived in northern Arizona, about 115 miles away from the Grand Canyon. Of course we’ve visited there several times and taken visiting friends and family there too. Here are a few photos to give you an idea of the beauty of this place in case you’ve never been there.

Hope you enjoyed my little tour!

Fun Tips

FRUGAL FRIDAY

A good friend sent an email to me last week with the title: WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT? Fun Tips That May or May Not Work.

Most of these are easy and frugal ways to do things around the house, which is why I’m sharing them with you on this Frugal Friday. Maybe you’ve already seen these or use some of these tips yourself. I haven’t tried them yet but I definitely will!

Please, do not write to tell me that any of these do not work. My intent today is just to share some fun and possibly good tips with you. Remember, this is meant to be fun!

Blue Mishmash

MISHMASH MONDAY

You all know what a sucker I am for anything pink. However, there are many other colors equally worthy of consideration, so on this Mishmash Monday I give you… blue!

Memorial Day Mishmash

MISHMASH MONDAY

Today is being observed as Memorial Day all over the United States. Therefore, here is a mix of patriotic images in honor of this day when we honor our fallen military.

To all those with family members and friends who have been injured or died while serving our country:

there is no way we can ever make up for your loss except to NEVER FORGET…

Froggie Mishmash

MISHMASH MONDAY

It’s a FROG invasion!

Not really. This is actually my hubby’s and my collection of frogs. We started collecting them several years ago because they’re so quirky and cute but also because the acronym FROG means:

Fully

Relying

On

God

So on this Mishmash Monday I thought I’d share our froggie obsession with you. Here they are, in no particular order.

And there you have it—our FROG collection to date. Stay tuned though. One never knows when another one will somehow hop into our house and I’ll just have to share it with you!
